An online informational meeting was held on July 25, 2025, with the participation of the Regional Managers of designated Organized Industrial Zones (OIZs) operating in the Marmara Region. This was within the scope of the “Making Industrial Organizations Resilient to Disasters with a Business Continuity Management Approach: Marmara Region Application (RESMAR Project),” which is carried out by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) with co-financing from the European Union.

The scope of the business impact analyses to be conducted specifically for OIZs and the business continuity plans to be prepared based on these analyses were shared in detail. The Istanbul Tuzla Chemical Industrialists OIZ shared its experience regarding the business continuity plan preparation process. Furthermore, explanations were given about the program content, preparation process, and participation conditions for the in-person technical training to be held in Ankara on August 18–19, 2025.
Management representatives from the following organized industrial zones participated in the informational meeting: Tuzla Chemical Industrialists OIZ, Birlik OIZ, Çerkezköy OIZ, Demirtaş OIZ, GEBKİM Kocaeli-Gebze Chemistry Specialized OIZ, Gebze Güzeller OIZ, Global Karma OIZ, and Istanbul Anadolu Yakası OIZ.
